In holland we had a long weekend this weekend because of "Pinksteren" I am racking my brain, what is that in english... I am pretty sure that there isn't such a holiday in NZ. I am going to google it now.... Pentecost!!! the 7th sunday after easter. When we in the catholic church celebrate the rising of jesus.
Friday I quit my job here at easybox, my boss was not happy but he can't do much about it. Well maybe if he offered me twice as much money I would consider staying but I can't see that happening. He now has a month to find a replacement.
Friday night, Julian stayed the night at mum's (oma's). Jeroen had to work at the wallevis (restaurant where we had our wedding reception) and I had a night out on the town with my girlfriends. We have found the best bubbles in the whole world it is called moscato d'asti. yummy yummy. I think we drank all the bottles that they had. the only thing is... it does give you a headache.

Saterday we went to pick up my new bike in Bergen op Zoom, it was so very exciting to see it all fitted with baby seat and wind-breaker, and in the colours and design that I wanted... I have already pu a photo of the bike here so is the baby seat...... You can't realy see it very well, but it has orange butterflies on it, so neat.
I biked all the way from BOZ to Steenbergen cause otherwise we would have had to load my new bike onto a trailer and it might have been damaged, well that is what I told jeroen. It was such a nice day and a hour alone on the bike is very soothing for a headache.
Sunday we went to a place in Belgium just over the boarder to a garden center to buy plants for our garden, it was looking a little bare. We couldn't buy all the plants that we needed cause they wouldn't fit in the car..... You need to take so much stuff with you when you have a child, not that I am complaining, I still love being a mummy but these are the kinds of things that one forgets before having babies. Oh well, at least I now have an excuse to go plant shopping again. When we got home Julian was still sleeping, so we carefully took him out of the car and planted all the plants in record time together before he woke up... it was all timed perfectly. Jeroen then cooked up a feast for us. All in all a fun family day.
Monday, as I already said was an extra day off. Not for Jeroen he had to work in the wallevis again. I say work but Jeroen calls it his hobby. Being a teacher is his work. The weather was crappy so I had an inside play day with Julain, lots of fun. Dad and Helen called
and asked if we wanted them to bring anything from NZ. I couldn't think of anything.... anyone any ideas?? the only thing that I would really like is a PSP (playstaion portable) Duty free they are alot cheaper. So dad if you read this maybe you could have a look for me??!!??
Well that's all folks
Love and Hugs and Kisses Josje xx
