Center Parks

What a weekend it was, fab weather and lots of fun in the sun. This was julian's first weekend away from home (if you don't count his stay in the hospital) He really enojyed all the attention.

He wasn't sure about the swimming pool though, I think he had to get used to it first.
Look at his face, that just says it all.

Mum came home on tuesday, I am so happy that she is back... I missed her this time more than other times. I think this was because I missed being able to share all the new things that julian did with her and also ask questions about her experiences with us (adrian and me) when we were babies.

I am really enjoying writing my blog today cause yesterday I got my nails done and they are polished blood red. Jeroen said that they looked really hot........... hmm..........

I can't think of much else to say.... boring..... I have the same problem as claire, when I started writing I tought that I had heaps to say, but it has just turned into ramblings.

So I will finish with another photo, cause whatever I type it can't me more interesting than photo's of julian....... that is what everyone wants to see anyway.

When you are pregnant everyone is interested in your tummy and how you are, but as soon as it is out of the oven no-one is interested in you anymore, it is all about the baby...... I could stand on my head and do a dance and everyone would still be coeche coeche coeing over julian.... Oh well I will get over it. Always being the center of attention isn't sll that it is cracked u to be anyway, it gets pretty tiering at times.
Have a good one

Mother Nature has gone CRAZY

Feeling hot hot hot,

The weather has gone CRAZY it is 29 degrees in holland, mid April!! CRAZY!! Ok today it is 27 degrees but yesterday it really was 29. Julian doesn't have any shorts yet, oh well I guess that I now have a good reason to go shopping, he is now just lying around in his 1-sie, he doesn't care, I think he would love to just lie around in his birthday suit all day.

He went to his very first swimming lesson today with Jeroen, and this weekend we are going to centerparks where they have a subtropical water paradise, so yes swim we shall. The white-water slide is probably not a good idea, the kiddy pool slide will have to do. When we get back I'll post photo's.

I just relised that I haven't put a photo of Jeroen and I on my blog yet, you have no idea who is writing this........ Well I don't think that many other people read my blog besides adrian and claire.......... If you do read my blog could you leave a comment!!??? Make my Day!! PLEASE!!
Have a good one, love you lots!!

As I promised

As I promised yesterday here is a more recent photo of Julian.

We went to see opa and oma Loos today in the Rest home, It is not going to well with them both but their reactions when they see Julian is so heart warming that I have decided to visit thm every week on thursdays for as long as they are still with us, that is the least I can do right!!

This morning the Physio came again for Julian!! Ik is so much fun, I don't think that he really needs it but it is covered but our insurance and his doctor thinks that he does need it so why not, and julian loves it, he has so much fun...... SOOOO CUTE.
We also had our first meeting for Julians Baptizim. He is going to be baptized on July the first. It was basically a group of new parents talking about their experiences during the pregnancy and the birth and other stuff about being parents..... It was nice to share stories.
That was it for today, bye bye Goodnight

My First Time

Well here goes nothing.
Thanks to Claire's example I have decided to create my own blog. The main reason being, to keep in touch with family and friends in New Zealand.

Ok, what are my thoughts and feelings at the moment.... Well I am at work, yes at work........ after being on maternity leave for 18 weeks I am still adjusting to the concept myself. I will mostley be updating my blog from work cause when I am at home all my time is taken up by our beautiful son Julian and of course as seen left our kitty Mikka.
I am still adjusting to the fact that someone else is looking after Julian, I have permitted myself to call the creche 3 times max per day. They keep saying that it isn't a problem that I call them but I am sure that when I hang up the phone they have a good laugh, but I don't care..... They are really good to Julian I am sure of that, he is the favourite, because he is the youngest. He is now 3 and a half months old and in my next blog I will post a more recent photo but for now here is one of the first photos taken in the hospital. Yes adrian I here you saying it..... He is sucking his thumb!! Being a mum is the best feeling in the world. Of all the experiences I have had in my life giving birth (even though it was very painful) was the best feeling in the world. Everyday he does something new, makes a new sound, lifts his head a little further than the day before and his smiles gets bigger everyday. You really have to be a parent to get the feeling of pride you get when you see his progress.
I am waiting for a call today from his doctor in the Sofia Children's hospital. They have found some abnormalities in Julian's blood. He has a vitamin K difficincie (is this how you spell it??). Vitamin K is what is needed to klot your blood when you are bleeding. Normally your body gets this out of your food but Julian doesn't do this, so last week they gave him an overdoss Vitamin K and 2 days later they tested his blood again to see if his body used it or if he rejected it AGAIN!!!!! Now I am playing the waiting game....
